Abdominoplasty is the removal of excess skin found in the abdomen, typically the result of pregnancies or weight loss. Many variants of this surgery exist, from mini-abdominoplasty to the circular variant. The surgery depends on the personal characteristics of the patient. All patients are different and require individual care. Due to muscular flaccidity, we use an internal corset to repair and tighten the muscles. Both men and women are eligible candidates of the surgery. There is no minimum or maximum age requirement. The procedure takes approximately 4 hours and uses neuroaxial blockage and sedation. You will have to stay at hospital one night and will be discharge next day.
