This surgery removes excess skin on the upper eyelid (sometimes referred to as “hooded” eyes) as well as the bags beneath the eyes. This extra skin around the eyes can sometimes be annoying and even interfere with one’s eyesight. There is no minimum age recommendation for this surgery because there are young patients (below thirty years) who present with dermatochalasis (redundancy of skin). You will be able to return to your home or to your hotel room after surgery. The sutures will be removed after five days.
